OEM Sales Executive – Cloud Data Storage (Calabasas, CA)


IDrive.com, a leader in synced cloud storage and remote access services, is looking for a tech- savvy, outgoing, networking champion to add an OEM Sales Executive to continue to grow IDriveSync, IDrive and IBackup as leaders in the Cloud Storage Space.

The role of the OEM Sales Executive is to increase company revenue and profit through significant penetration of the OEM segment of the market.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute sales/business plan to penetrate the OEM large market segment and capture significant market share in assigned territory
  • Research key industry verticals to identify OEM targets and key contacts
  • Proactive outbound calling of OEM prospects to win new customers
  • Attend trade shows and drive prep/ research on potential OEM targets
  • Deliver accurate and timely pipeline reports and forecasts
  • Work closely with marketing operations, marketing communications, product marketing and product management to implement tactical and strategic programs to grow the business and spread awareness of IDrive.com in our target market
  • Identify new sales opportunities and new products opportunities through capturing customer requirements, collecting information on competitor’s products and gathering other forms of market intelligence
  • Work closely with legal teams to negotiate OEM software contracts with clients
  • Provide recommendations to the management team of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and suggestions of how to address and leverage each as it relates to the penetration of the OEM market

Desired Skills & Experience:


  • 1-3 years of demonstrable success in software sales/OEM sales background in Internet Service Industry or Cloud Data Storage Industry
  • MBA with some computer software/cloud related class preferred
  • Experience negotiating complex software contracts
  • Full life cycle sales from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual goals
  • Strong experience in large scale strategic selling and driving larger/strategic deals to close
  • Experience with OEM, channels and strategic account management
