Web Content Writer–Cloud Data Storage (Calabasas, CA)

IDriveSync, IDrive combined with IBackup offers one of the most popular services for Windows, Mac and iPhones. Responsibilities:

• Work on content optimization projects and product page development in a collaborative team setting
• Be primary contact for all web editing issues/requests
• Conducting keyword research to identify keyword usage
• Generation of web content for areas of site
• Develop consistent and high quality materials or concepts
• Keep abreast of competitors' websites content
• Develop company’s strategy to reach and attain new clients/customers, stir discussion
• Drive traffic to company website and social media platforms
• Responsible for writing and publishing Web content; maintaining and updating Web pages/blogs; monitoring and responding to user-contributed website content; and participating in social media efforts for the company

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Excellent editing, spelling and grammar
• Able to edit range of documents, correcting any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors.
• Open communication style
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Experience in writing for the Web, content management and internet research
• Familiarity with search engine optimization writing techniques
• Experience with Web marketing
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or English; or relevant degree or certification; and/or 2-5 years writing experience
