Schedule backup
To schedule automated backups, set the following options under the Scheduler tab:
1. Backup start time - Set the time at which your scheduled backup should start.
2. Backup set name - Select the backup set you want to schedule for backup.
3. Daily Schedule - To run your backup jobs daily, select this option.
4. Week-Day(s) - Select the days of the week on which you wish to run your backup jobs.
5. Start the backup immediately - Select this option to run a backup job immediately.
6. Hourly Schedule - Select this option to configure hourly backup operations.
7. Cut-off Time - Set the time at which your scheduled backup should stop. This is helpful if you want to stop the backup progress at a specific time.
8. Email notification - Enter your email address to receive backup status notifications.
(a) Notify always - Select this option to get notifications always.
(b) Notify on failure - Select this option to get the notifications only when there are failures.
9. Notify me on desktop - Select this option to receive backup notifications on your desktop.
10. Start the missed scheduled backup / restore when the computer is turned on - If you select this option, your missed scheduled backup/restore will start automatically once you turn on your computer.
To manage your scheduled backup jobs,
1. Double-click .
2. Click Scheduler > Manage all the scheduled jobs.
3. Set the options as per your backup needs.
4. Click Save Changes.
